UB Animal Science Masters Program Holds Written Tests and Interviews for Prospective New Students

Approaching the new academic year, odd semester 2023/2024, the Master of Animal Science Program, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) is preparing for the selection of new student admissions. Selection for the second wave was carried out through the implementation of written tests and online interviews, Tuesday (16/5/2023).

There were 16 registered participants who graduated from various universities in Indonesia. Like Sriwijaya University, Hasanuddin University, Tribhuwana Tunggal Dewi University, Jember University, Malang Muhammadiyah University, and Brawijaya University.

They were divided into breakout zooms and then interviewed by the team, which consisted ofDr. Ir. Agus Susilo, MS. IPM. ASEAN Eng. (Vice Dean III),Prof. Dr. Ir. Tri Eko Susilorini, MP. IPM. ASEAN Eng. (Chair of the Masters Study Program), andProf. Dr. Ir. Kuswati, MS. IPM. ASEAN Eng (Teachers for Postgraduate Programs). After the interview, the participants took an online written test. Dr. Tri Eko as the head of the study program advised the participants that when they officially become Masters students they can graduate on time, namely four semesters or two years.

“The key to graduating on time is having a target and description for research that will serve as a thesis. Apart from that, he is diligent in attending lectures and is active in writing journals, because one of the requirements for graduating from a master’s degree is the publication of a national or international journal.” she said (dta)
